Alto Rouge 2024

2024 marks an extraordinary milestone as we celebrate the release of our 100th consecutive vintage of Alto Rouge. 

This iconic vintage is a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Shiraz, 12% Cabernet franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The nose shows beautiful aromas of succulent plum, crushed blackberry and dry fig. The palate has intricate flavours of pine-needle and graphite interwoven with the juicy fruit notes, the tannins are firm and offer structure and complexity to this icon. 

A beautiful wine to drink now but will age to further degrees of excellence over the next 5 to 8 years. 

Alto Rouge has truly stood the test of time and will always be an integral part of Cape Wine history and a popular choice among red wine lovers worldwide.
